Obituary of Maria Tobia

Maria Tobia, 50, of Newark, passed away on March 3, 2018. Maria was born in Belleville on November 1, 1967 to Albert Tobia and the late Marie (Frucci) Tobia. She worked for many years as a manicurist, most recently in Clifton. She was the mother of Mia Tobia and Olivia Evans, the sister of Mark Tobia and his wife Brenda and Michele Bolen and her husband Tom and the aunt of Matthew and Nicholas Tobia and Thomas and Elizabeth Bolen. She is also survived by her aunts Barbara Frucci and Ruth Ann Ciallella and many other extended family members. 

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 339 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover.
