Obituary of Rochelle Miller

Sister Rochelle Miller was Acting Vice President of the Usher Board, member of the Pastor's Aide Ministry, and a choir member at Tabernacle of Praise, Inc. of Paterson, NJ, where the pastor and founder is Bishop Peter Williams. SisterRochelle Miller is the oldest of six children born to Tabia and Laura Hill of Passaic, NJ. Sis. Rochelle has two sisters and three brothers. She grew up in the Paterson area, where she received her education at the famous Eastside High School. God blessed Sister Rochelle with a job in Paterson, where she met her late husband Leon Miller, and from that union she has a son named Jawan E. Hill. Later in life, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA, where she lived for over 25 years until the death of her husband. After the loss of her husband, Sister Rochelle knew that something was missing from her life. With the hope of a restored life, she returned to Paterson and rededicated herself to the Lord in 2005, where she joined Tabernacle of Praise (along with her mother, Missionary/Mother Laura Duncan). God reclaimed her, and she was filled with His precious Holy Ghost. Sister Rochelle enrolled in Bethel Bible Institute in Paterson,NJ, where the Dean is Evangelist Dr. Regina Williams, an instructor and teacher who is highly anointed by God. Sister Rochelle had a burning in her heart to tell her story about where God had brought her from. She desired to encourage the people and give hope to them through her testimony. Sister Rochelle's favorite song is: "Jesus, I will never forget." Her favorite scripture is Matthew 61:1-2. In times of trouble, she desired to be led to the "rock that's higher than she." Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9-10am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 10am followed by burial at George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
