Obituary of Lucia "Lucy" Moussab

Lucia "Lucy" Moussab (nee Longobardi), 93, a resident of Woodland Park for 62 years, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on March 13, 2018. She was born in New York City on November 6, 1924 to the late Henry and Sophie (Regina) Longobardi. Lucy was a loving homemaker and truly enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She was also a dedicated parishioner of St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. Lucy was the beloved wife of the late George Moussab (2007), the adored mother of Nicholas and George Moussab and the cherished grandmother of Nicholas Moussab and his wife Lauren and Stephanie Moussab. She was the dear sister of Fred Longobardi and his wife Florence and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Gennaro and Louis Longobardi and her sisters Vincenza Simone and Anna Galati. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 9am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
