Obituary of Rafic Samaha

Rafic Samaha, 67, of Colonia, NJ passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2018. He was born in Lebanon on June 25, 1950 to the late Sajih and Emilia (Sawaya) Samaha. Rafic was an Optician for over 40 years.

Rafic was the beloved husband of Rita (Kharrat) Samaha, the adored father of Sandy Chalet and her husband John, Joelle Samaha, and Elie Samaha and the cherished grandfather of Luke Chalet. He is also survived by his sister Yola Shehady and her husband Hal as well as many nieces and nephews and additional family members in Lebanon.

Visitation will be offered on Thursday from 5-9pm at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Rd., Little Falls, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave., Colonia, NJ. Arrangements by Santangelo Funeral Home in Woodland Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
