Obituary of Rosemarie Marinelli

Rosemarie Marinelli (nee DeLucia), 82, of Woodland Park, passed away on October 28, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Newark on April 25, 1936 to the late Giuseppe and Mary (Testa) DeLucia.

Rosemarie was the beloved wife of the late Frank Marinelli, a former West Paterson Police Department Deputy Chief; she was the adored mother of Dana Nazzerese and her husband Michael, Steven Marinelli and his wife Lisa, and Christi Barone and her husband Philip and she was the cherished grandmother of Nichole and Kristen Nazzerese, Gina, Matthew and Jake Marinelli and Gianna and Claudia Barone. Rosemarie was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters and is survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Rosemarie enjoyed bowling for over 40 years and also loved to travel around with her very dear friends. But her true joy was spending time with her family as a homemaker, caregiver, mother and grandmother.

Visitation will be Friday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
