Obituary of Manuel Jaimes
Manuel Jaimes, 90, of Woodland Park, passed away on August 6, 2013. He was born in Ancash, Bolognesi, Peru to the late Victor and Elvira Jaimes. In Peru, Manuel worked for a factory union and was a founding member of The Club of Chiquian and was devoted to Saint Rosa of Lima.
He was the beloved husband of Luisa (nee Barboza) for 64 years. He was the adored father of Manuel Jaimes and his wife Martha, Martha Torres and her husband Francisco, Oscar Jaimes and his wife Cleusa, Mary Arbulu and her husband Enrique and step daughter Amanda De Rubin and her husband and daughters. He was the treasured grandfather of Milagros and Martin Torres, Katherine Jaimes, Mary Ann Arbulu, and Fabricio Jaimes. He was predeceased by 1 brother and 3 sisters and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7-9pm and Friday from 10am-12:30pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Friday at 12:30pm at Santangelo Funeral Home. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
