Obituary of Virginia Puccio

Virginia Puccio, (nee Guito), 92, of Pompton Plains, formerly of Paterson for many years, passed away on August 7, 2013. Virginia was born in Pennsylvania to the late Carmen and Clelia (nee Giordano) Guito. Virginia worked in the cafeteria at JFK High School in Paterson for 33 years where she retired as manager. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Paterson where she was also a member of the Seniors Club and the Rosary Society. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis (1983) and the cherished mother of Vincent Puccio and his wife Linda (nee Couso) and Frank Puccio. She was predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:30am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
