Obituary of Anthony D Randazzo

Anthony D. Randazzo, 84 a lifelong resident of Woodland Park and a recent resident of the NJ Firemen’s Home in Boonton, passed away on March 14, 2019.

Father of Donna Randazzo and her husband John Plinio of Hopatcong, Lori Randazzo of Woodland Park and Tony, Jr of Long Island. Grandfather of Alicia Plinio and her husband Sean Schuchman of Rockaway, Matthew Plinio of Hopatcong and Samantha and Joshua Randazzo of Florida.

Tony attended Woodland Park schools and graduated from Passaic Valley H.S. He was a Woodland Park Councilman, Borough Leader and member of the Board of Health. He was also a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis and the WP Democratic Club. Tony was a member of the Rifle Camp Fire Co. #3 for many years, where he served in various roles including in 1960, company president, second lieutenant and first lieutenant. Tony was a carpenter and built many homes in Woodland Park. He played football and basketball for the Stoney Road Tigers and lplayed semi pro softball for the Hawthorne Chevies.

Memorial visitation will be held at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park on Wednesday, March 20th from 10am to 11am. Private burial will immediately follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
