Obituary of Susan Cuntrera

Susan Cuntrera (nee Patti), 78, of Woodland Park, passed away on June 2, 2019. Susan was born in Siculiana, Sicily, Italy on February 21, 1941 to the late Pasquale Patti and Domenica Sciortino. Before retiring, Susan worked as a bank teller at Little Falls Savings and Loans in West Paterson, NJ. She was a loving homemaker to her family and a devoted parishioner at Our Lady of Pompei Church in Paterson. 

Susan was the beloved wife of Anthony Cuntrera for 56 years. She was the adored mother of Joseph Cuntrera and his wife Sana, Patsy Cuntrera and Anthony Cuntrera, Jr. and his wife Laura and the cherished grandmother of Joseph Cuntrera, Jr., Jessica Cuntrera, Alyssa Cuntrera and Jenna cuntrera. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Patti, her sister Josephine DeLibero and her husband Frank and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5th from 4:00-8:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, June 6th at 10:00am at Our Lady of Pompei Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Guests may gather at Santangelo Funeral Home at 9:00am. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
