Obituary of Eva DiLizia
Eva DiLizia (nee Brunetti), 81, of Woodland Park, passed away on August 10, 2019. Eva was born in Fraine, Italy on July 11, 1938 to the late Americo and Maria (nee Tilli) Brunetti. She immigrated from Italy when she was 15 years old along with her sisters. She later married her husband, Angelo in 1959. They lived in Paterson until 1969 before moving to West Paterson. She worked for many years at Lido Fashion in Paterson before retiring. Eva loved to cook for her family and was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother whose true passion was her family.
Eva was the beloved wife of Angelo DiLizia until his passing just two month ago in June. She was the adored mother of Florian DiLizia and his wife Diana and Tina Marie Battagliese and her husband Paul and the cherished grandmother, "Nonnina" of Daniel and Isabella DiLizia and Victoria and Angelina Battagliese. Eva was the dear sister of Nancy Natale and her late husband Joseph, the late Mary Nucci and her husband, Domenico, John Brunetti and his late wife Eleanora. Eva is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
