Obituary of Quinto Papaleo

Quinto Papaleo, 82, of Totowa, passed away on August 20, 2019. He was born on October 30, 1936 in St. Andrea, Ionio, Italy to the late Bruno and Caterina (Sama) Papaleo. Before retiring, Quinto worked as a mason for many years, most recently at Passaic Valley Sewage Commission in Newark. 

Quinto was the beloved husband of Linda (Pirelli) Papaleo for over 61 years. He was the cherished father of Graziella Donzella, Elena Barchini and her husband Guido, and Vittoria Cardinale, the treasured grandfather of Oriana Tedesco and her husband Frank, Bartolo Donzella, Odessa Donzella, Vanessa Lutz and her husband Casey, Eliana Parisi and her husband Chris, and Vincenzo Barchini and his wife Heather and great grandfather of 7. He was the dear brother of Giuseppe and Vincenzo Papaleo and Antonietta Andracchio and was predeceased by 2 other brothers and 1 sister. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Friday, August 23rd from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, August 24th at 9:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:00am. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
