Obituary of Fulvia Cocja

Fulvia Cocja (nee Colella), 87, of Morris Twsp., passed away in her home on September 17, 2019. Fulvia was born in Alexandria, Egypt on June 30, 1932 to the late Nicola and Elvira (Allegra) Colella. Before her retirement in 2001, Fulvia worked for the Montclair Board of Education for over 25 years. She was the beloved wife of Nicolas G. Cocja, the adored mother of Robert and Paul Cocja and the treasured grandmother of James Cocja. Fulvia is also survived by her sister Marisa Meramo and many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her sister Angelina R. Semine.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 22nd from 3:00-7:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be offered on Monday, September 23rd at 10:00am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Rd., Little Falls, NJ. Burial will follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, 851 Valley Rd., Montclair, NJ.
