Obituary of Joseph R. Sassano

Joseph R. Sassano, 92, of Wayne, passed away on September 21, 2019. He was born in Paterson, NJ on September 27, 1926 to the late Vito and Adeline "Lena" (DeSenzo) Sassano. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Before retiring, Joseph worked in quality control at Thermo Electric. 

Joseph was predeceased by his wife Adriana “Audrey” (Chrystaline) Sassano in 2008. He was the adored father of Joseph A. Sassano and his wife Anita and Kenneth Sassano and the treasured grandfather of Ryan Sassano and his wife Amanda and Kaitlin Finelli and her husband Nicholas. He was the dear brother of Dominic Sassano and his wife Jeanette, Victor Sassano and his wife Patricia and the late Carmela Brown and her survivng husband Robert and Joseph is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 25th from 3-7pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
