Obituary of Mark Oscar Close Juhlin

Mark Oscar Close Juhlin, 49, of Bloomingdale, formerly of Little Falls, passed away at home on October 1, 2019 surrounded by his family and friends. Mark was born in Paterson on October 22, 1969. He attended Passaic Valley High School and was a proud offensive and defensive lineman for the 1986 PVHS state champion football team. Most recently, Mark worked in the building and grounds department for the County of Passaic. In his spare time, Mark loved coaching TriBoro Baseball in Bloomingdale, cheering on the Giants and the Yankees as an avid fan and spending time fishing at the Jersey Shore and in Cape Cod with his friends and family. 

Mark was the beloved husband of Nina Valboa, the adored father of Willem Oscar and Harrison Mark Juhlin, the cherished son of Ronald Close and Shirley Juhlin and the dear brother of Drew Juhlin and his wife Kim. He is also survived by his loving nephews Quinn and Cooper, his aunts Judy Caputo and her husband Ron and Carol Lelyo, his cousins Steve and Craig Caputo and a countless number of dedicated, devoted and caring friends. 

Visitation will be Saturday, October 5th from 9:00-11:00am at Little Falls United Methodist Church, 139 Main St. Little Falls, NJ. A funeral service will follow visitation at 11:00am. Cremation will be private by the request of the family. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Mark's family would be greatly appreciated.
