Obituary of Maria Ramos-Delgado

Maria Ramos-Delgado, 79, of Parsipanny, formerly of Paterson, passed away on October 23, 2019.  She was born on April 27, 1940 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico to the late Esteban Ramos and Bonifacia Escudero. Maria was a loving homemaker to her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Evangelista Delgado-Arce "Gelo" until his passing in 2017. She was the cherished mother of Wilson Delgado and his wife Julissa, Ricardo Delgado and his wife Elizabeth, Mary Ramos and her husband Donny Fonseca. Jacqueline VanAuken and her husband Eric, Sofia Ramos and Soele Ramos; and the adored grandmother of 27 grandchildren. She is also survived by great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her daughters Evelyn Rodriguez, Daisy Delgado, Carmen Ramos, and Carmen Delgado.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th from 5-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. Guests may meet at Santangelo Funeral Home on Saturday, October 26th at 10am to offer final respects before proceeding to East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave., Clifton, for a graveside service to begin at 11:15am.
