Obituary of Juan E. Soto

Juan E. Soto, 76, of Paterson, passed away in his home surrounded by family on November 10, 2019. Juan was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico on March 30, 1943 to the late Martin Soto and Antonia Velez.

Juan was the beloved husband of Aurea (Carire) Soto and the cherished father of Ada Diaz and her husband Angel, Lourdes Soto-Ortiz and her husband Ramon, Luis Soto and his wife Maritza, and Amarylis Toledo and her husband Jorge. He was the treasured grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Juan is also survived by his brothers Luis and Gilberto and his sisters Rosa and Olga as well many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Juan C. Soto in 2015 as well as his brothers and sisters. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13th from 5-9pm at Iglesia Cristina Pentecostal, 321 Straight St., Paterson. A funeral service will begin on Thursday, November 14th at 9am at Iglesia Cristina Pentecostal. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
