Dear Lambert Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies. Captain Lambert was truly an officer and a gentleman. His Legacy of service above self is one that lit the way for those behind him and for that I am grateful. May you take comfort in knowing that he was touching the Face of GOD while in the gentle embrace of his beloved who gathered to welcome him Home.

I was very sad to hear the passing of Mr. Lambert. Both of my boy's won a scholarship through American Legion Post 238, and he was so helpful through the application process. My dad who was also a member of Post 238 spoke so highly of him when growing up in Woodland Park. Wishing the Lambert family strength and peace during this difficult time.

Growing up in WP I met the Lambert Boys Joey n Billy they use to keep there horses at our barn on Brophy Lane then Joey became a police officer. As a child got into some mischief but Joey was one on the cops who was always there and had your back. My Mom loved those Lambert Boys. They don't make men like him anymore . Joey you were a great mentor and good friend and will be missed. I'm glad I was able to get to know you growing . Thank you Bud RIP
