Obituary of Michele Abbate

Michele Abbate, 79, of Woodland Park, NJ, passed away on December 4, 2019. Michele was born in Sicily, Italy on March 21, 1940. Before retiring, he worked for many years as a chef, most recently at Mina's on the Mountain in Woodland Park.

Michele was the beloved husband of Anna (Russo) Abbate, the cherished father of Jean-Pierre Abbate and his wife Michelle, William Abbate and his fiance Kelly Tong and Michael Abbate and the adored grandfather of Emily Abbate. He was predeceased by his brother Giuseppe and is survived by many relatives in Italy.

A mausoleum chapel service will be Saturday, December 7th at 11:30am at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum in Totowa.
