Obituary of Constant Gourley

Constant Gourley, 96, of Woodland Park, passed away on December 22, 2019. Constant was born in South Dakota on June 11, 1923 to the late Hugh and Louise (Heylens) Gourley. He proudly served as a member of the United States Army during WWII as a para trooper. Before retiring in 1987, Constant worked for many years as a mechanic at Nabisco Corp. in Fair Lawn, NJ. Constant was pre-deceased by his wife, Helen (Hendrickson) Gourley, his daughter Lou Ann Gourley Kobloth and his son David Gourley. He was the adored grandfather of Erica Kobloth and Dana Kobloth and her husband Martin Medina-Cuenta and the great grandfather of Gavin Widell and London Medina-Cuenta. Visitation will be Friday, December 27th from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 28th at 9:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org or to the cancer organization of your choice.
