Obituary of Susy H. Melgar-Alva

Susy H. Melgar-Alva, 28, of Paterson, passed away surrounded by her family on February 14, 2020. She was born in Lima, Peru on April 2, 1991. Most recently, Susy worked as a sales representative at T-Mobile.

Susy was the treasured daughter of Susana Alva and Julio Melgar. She was the adored mother of Anais Rivera and the beloved sister of Karina Calderon and Gary, Rudy, Albert and Julius Melgar. Susy is also survived by 2 nephews, 1 niece, many cousins and dear friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 20th from 5:00-9:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will begin on Friday, February 21st at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may begin to arrive at 9:00am. Burial will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton.
