Obituary of Stasia August

Stasia August (nee Pytko), 98, of Boynton Beach since 2000, formerly of West Paterson and Garfield, passed away on October 7, 2013. Stasia was born on November 27, 1914 in Dudley, MA to the late Francisci and Agathae Pytko. Stasia worked in the factory of Shulton's in Clifton for many years. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph August. She was the adored mother of Joseph August and his wife Dianne of Timnath, Colorado and Jane Wechsler and her husband Fred of Boynton Beach, Florida. Stasia was the treasured grandmother of Matthew August and his wife Nicole of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Jennifer Mallette and her husband Patrice of Longmont, Colorado, Michael August and his wife Prudence of Escondido, California and Megan August of Cheyenne, Wyoming and great grandmother of 10. She was predeceased by her parents as well as many brothers and sisters and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will held on Tuesday from 9am-11am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 11am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
