Obituary of George Nicholas

George Nicholas, age 73, of Woodland Park, passed away suddenly on September 10, 2012. George was born in West Paterson to the late Andrew and Mary Nicholas. He proudly served his country as a member of the Marines Corps. George worked for many years as a Senior Investigator at the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and as a patrolman for the West Paterson Police Department. He was also the Commander at American Legion Post #238 in Woodland Park. George was the beloved husband of the late Linda (nee Zazzara), the treasured father of Gina Nicholas, Francis George Nicholas and Andrew Curti and grandfather of Sean Curti. He is the dear brother of Dan Nicholas and Helen Davatelis and the late Nancy Denequolo and Ronnie Anastos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ.
