Obituary of Luis G Alvarado

Luis Alvarado, 79, of Woodland Park NJ, passed away on April 14th, 2020. Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, Luis lived most of his life in the New York / New Jersey area. A devoted hard- working family man, he worked two jobs for much of his life to ensure his family had every opportunity to succeed in life. It was that level of devotion that allowed his two sons to graduate from Ivy League universities, and he could not be more proud. Luis had the ability to bring a smile to everyone’s face with a simple kind gesture or a touching life story.

Luis is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Madeline Alvarado, two sons Louis and Ariel, daughter-in-law Diana, granddaughter Amanda, as well as his extended family of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Everyone who was lucky enough to know Luis will miss him dearly.

Due to the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic, all services will be private at this time.
