Obituary of Winifred Christman

Winifred Christman (nee Bianco), of Clifton, formerly of West Milford, passed away on June 29, 2020. She was born in Paterson on January 27, 1930. Before retiring, Winifred worked for many years as a nurses' aid at Milford Manor in West Milford and then as a cook at Greenwood Lake.

Winifred was the beloved wife of August N. Christman, Jr. for 62 years until his passing in 2010. She was the treasured mother of August Christman and Darlene Stralsbrothen and her husband Ronald and the beloved grandmother of Mark Christman and his girlfriend Celeste. Winifred was also the dear sister of Frederick Bianco and aunt to many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 10am-11am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A graveside service will immediately follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
