Obituary of Joseph L. Balough

Joseph L. Balough, 41, of Paterson, passed away on July 5, 2020. Joseph was born on October 17, 1978 to his parents, Tina Piscitelli Garvey and William Balough. His grandparents are Anna Balough, Louis Balough, Eleanor Piscitelli and Frank Piscitelli. Joseph was a talented chef and worked in many restaurants as a manager. In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by his beloved children, Joelianna Balough, Eli Balough, and Joseph Balough, Jr., his stepdad Christopher Garvey, his dear sisters Tina Garvey, Chris-t Garvey, Carol Varec, Christina Henry and Joanne Barbarossa, his brothers Steven Garvey and Christopher Garvey III, his uncles Kenny Roberts, Douglas Brockmann, Joseph Lewis, Chris Agnoli, Frank Piscitelli, Steven Chodakowsky and Joseph Balough, his aunts Marcie Roberts, Marian Brockmann, Pamela Lewis, Laura Agnoli, Eleanor Piscitelli, Marge Balough, many nieces and nephews and many cousins especially Allison Balough. Joey was a friend to many and loved by everybody who knew him.

Visitation will be Friday, July 10 from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home. A funeral service will be lead by Joseph's uncle, Deacon Joe Balough from St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson during the visitation. Cremation will be private by the request of the family. 

Due to the COVID-19 state mandated limits, a maximum of 50 individuals are permitted in the funeral home. A face mask is required for all attending. Thank you for your understanding.
