I have wonderful memories of John. I played for the soccer team Slovaks United, the only American on the team. John was always so nice and friendly to me. And so were his wife and daughters. They all made me feel part of the Slovak family. I also admired John for all the work he did for the Slovak people. I was very impressed. And I learned a lot about Slovakia in the process. I am sure he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. I know I feel very fortunate to have known Mr. Holy.
