Obituary of Helen Mary Federico

Helen Mary Federico (nee Bosland), 93, formerly of Woodland Park, passed away on October 25, 2013. Helen was born on March 19, 1920 in Paterson to the late Henry and Pauline Bosland. Helen was a crossing guard for the Borough of Woodland Park for many years before retiring. She was also a past President of the American Legion Post #238 in Woodland Park. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Federico (1998). She was the adored mother of Beverly Ramaglia and Paula Curcio and her husband Anthony. Helen was the treasured grandmother of Kim, Kelly, Ramona, Jamie, Amy and Jeremy and the great grandmother of Madeline, Brandon, Abigail, Graysen, Henry, Joel, James, Matthew, Chloe, Alex and Nicole. She was the dear sister of Edna Hallock and the late Emma Kania and Henrietta Wright. She is also survived by her niece and nephew. Visitation will held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Wednesday at 10am at Calvary Temple, 1111 Preakness Ave., Wayne. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories in Paramus.
