Obituary of Victor Hugo Herrera, Sr.

Victor Hugo Herrera, Sr., 72, of Totowa, passed away on September 1, 2020 the day before his 73rd birthday. Victor was born in Mendoza, Argentina on September 2, 1947 to the late Victor and Maria (Manino) Herrera. Victor loved bringing his family together with a BBQ, grilling steaks, drinking wine and enjoying each other's company.

Victor was the beloved husband of Angela (Fernandez) Herrera, the adored father of Victor Herrera, II and his wife Jessica, and the treasured Nono of Victor Hugo Herrera, III and Julian Alberto Herrera.  He was predeceased by all his siblings.

Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. 

Due to the COVID-19 state mandated limits, a maximum of 50 individuals are permitted in the funeral home at one time. A face covering must be worn by everyone in attendance at all times. In addition, please follow social distancing guidelines. Thank you for your compliance and understanding.
