Obituary of Terry Niles Odgers

Terry Niles Odgers, 88, formerly of Ramsey, passed away on September 21, 2020. Terry was born in Newark, NJ on May 5, 1932 to the late William and Peggy (Wilbur) Odgers. He served in the United States Military and later worked as an assistant analyst for IBM for over 20 years. More recently, Terry retired from the shipping and receiving department of Bergen County Camera. Terry enjoyed dancing and was an old time movie buff as well as enjoying spending time with his wife and their family. Terry was predeceased by his beloved wife Helen Vecchione in 2001. He is survived by his son Terry Odgers, his fiancé Annette and his son Steven and his wife Kaneez. He was the treasured grandfather of Khalil and Kiyan and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Terry was predeceased by his brothers Bill and Raymond Odgers and by his sister Midge Schneider and Mary Zacharie. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 9:30am-11:30am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A committmal service will follow begnning at 11:45am at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Rd., Totowa. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association to honor Terry's late mother and brothers.
