Obituary of Ruth Elizabeth Etzel

Ruth Elizabeth Etzel, 89, of Woodland Park, passed away on October 16, 2020. Ruth was born in Paterson on January 14, 1931 to the late William and Mamie (Hawkins) Meyers. She was a loving homemaker to her husband and children. Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband Martin Etzel, Jr., her cherished daughter Virginia Rejmaniak and her husband Leonard, her granddaughter Vicky Spiliotopoulos and her 10 siblings. Ruth is survived by her treasured daughter Annette Spiliotopoulos of Wayne, NJ, her daughter Marlene Snyder and her husband Jerry of California and Ruthann Kubanov of Woodland Park, NJ. She is also survived by her cherished 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, October 19th from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will begin on Tuesday, October 20th at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
