Obituary of Joseph DiCerbo
It is with a heavy heart and sadness that we share our dear family member, Joseph DiCerbo has passed away. Joseph DiCerbo, of Paterson, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020. He was 59 years old. Joseph DiCerbo was a kind, quiet man, with a gentle soul and kind heart. He was soft spoken and loved dogs. He enjoyed watching baseball and football. He enjoying watching movies and tv shows. Joseph looked forward to spending time with his dear friends, Mark and Bill, as the three close friends would go to the movies, grab dinner and catch up. Joseph enjoyed biking with friends, walking, and hiking. He spent his career being employed in the field of Information Technology, as a PC Technician. He enjoyed his work in the field of IT, and will be remembered fondly by those who worked with him.
He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Cianciosi; his nieces Christie and Angela Cianciosi, and his nephew, David Guthaim and his wife Jennifer Guthaim; his cousin, Anthony Franchino and his wife, Jayne Franchino; his aunt, Vera Franchino; his late sister’s brother in law and wife, Neil and Elizabeth Guthaim, as well as many friends and co-workers. He will be missed.
A memorial Mass for Joseph will be offered on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Pompei Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Joseph will be laid to rest with his family at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa. Please note that the maximum church capacity is 75 and all attendees much receive a ticket at the door in order to enter the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following organizations in Joseph’s honor: The National Hypertension Association; The American Heart Association; or the ASPCA, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
