Obituary of Maria L. Onnembo

Maria L. Onnembo (nee Grieco), 86, of Paterson, passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2020. Maria was born in Serre, Italy on September 4, 1934 to the late Raffale and Rosa (Olidieri) Grieco. Before retiring, Maria worked as a seamstress at Brooks Brothers in Paterson, NJ for many years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Nicola Onnembo in 2003.

Maria was the adored mother of Giovanni and his late wife Francesca, Biagio Onnembo and his wife Enrica Lucci, Vincenza DiGangi and Rosa Annaloro and her husband Giovanni. She was the cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren with one on the way who will all miss her dearly.

All services for Maria will be private at the request of the family.
