Obituary of Vincenzo Sconciafurno
Vincenzo Sconciafurno, 71, of Paterson, passed away on December 8, 2020. He was born in Castel di Sangro, Abruzzo, Italy on March 31, 1949 to the late Giuseppe and Laura (Santone) Sconciafurno. Before retiring, Vincenzo worked as a mechanical technician at Curtiss-Wright in Fairfield, NJ.
Vincenzo is survived by his beloved fiancée Marie Sheppard, her daughter Gina Sheppard and their grandchildren Kevin Hein, Michael Hook, Nicholas Hook, Kevin Hein Jr., Micheal Hook, Jr. and Jessica Hein. He was the dear brother of Paul Sconciafurno and his wife Sonya and Serafine Savasatano and her husband Cosimo of Italy and uncle to Jasmine and Jordan Sconciafurno, Pietro Savastano, Simaluca Savastano and Baby Bella. Vincenzo will be especially missed by his best buddy, his dog, Puggy. He was also a proud member of the Roma Social Club of Woodland Park. In addition to his parents, Vincenzo was predeceased by Marie's son, Anthony Sheppard.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 6:00-9:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
Due to the COVID-19 state mandate, a maximum of 50 individuals are permitted in the funeral home at one time. A face covering must be worn by everyone in attendance at all times. In addition, please follow social distancing guidelines. Thank you for your compliance and understanding.
