Obituary of David Harold Van Winkle

David Harold Van Winkle, 74, of Woodland Park, passed away on December 14, 2020. He was born in Paterson on December 9, 1946 to the late Harold and Florence (Kellett) Van Winkle. Dave proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1966-1968. Before retiring, Dave was an auto worker for Chrysler Corporation. He was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Union and of the American Legion.

 

Dave is survived by his wife, Laura (Megibow) Van Winkle, his daughters Debra Dulsky and her husband Mark of Westport, CT and Tammy Benedict and her husband Edward of Wayne, NJ, his grandchildren Adam and Jack Dulsky and Shae and Lucas Benedict and by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.  Dave was predeceased by his brother, Harold “Hatch” Van Winkle and his sister, Arlene Kazmark.
