Extending to the entire MacLeod family our most sincere sympathies.. It is with great sadness that we have learned of your mom's passing.. As long, long time residents of Bergen Blvd, the DePope family was blessed to have many wonderful neighbors.. Roger & Adele MacLeod were among those. It is hard to believe that a day went by whereby Adele did not pass on a kind word or an act of unselfish kindness.. For many years, her Christmas baking always included a loaf of banana bread delivered to us.. Please know that we shall dearly miss her, but know also that memories of her and her kindnesses will long endure.. God's Blessings to one and all......... Rod DePope and Family

My aunt Adele… I do have a multitude of memories and in every one of them she is smiling or laughing or offering sage advice. She always had a little gift for me when I was a child for an occasion or for no occasion. Even recently, with a visit I would go home with an article she cut out of a magazine or the little candies she knew I enjoyed. I remember the countless hours she and my Mom spent on the phone together and their frequent visits. As my Mom became more frail Aunt Adele would come over and jut sit with her sometimes on the front porch and they would pray together. After my Mom passed Aunt Adele told us she would fill in for her and that we should feel free to share any burdens. She would help by sharing her experience or praying for a resolution. The last time my sister Kathy and I went to visit she showed us she was getting around pretty well and said “I am still kicking, just not as high” Rest well Aunt Adele. You will be missed. Aunt Adele was a special soul, always smiling and so kind. I have very happy memories of visiting my mother-in-law‘s house when the sisters were making pies for Thanksgiving (and offering my taste testing services). If anyone in the family was in need of special prayers, Aunt Adele would add them to her list. We will add all of you to our prayer list as you mourn her passing. Mrs. MacLeod was almost like a second Mom to me during my youth. The days, months and years growing up with Kevin and the whole gang at the MacLeod house remain great memories to me. She was a wonderful and spiritual person and I can honestly say no one I have ever met has said anything otherwise. Prayers go out to her and all the MacLeod family. God Bless. Gary and Dawn Kaiser
