Today we said farewell to a rare and irreplaceable woman, my dear friend, Kris. To know Kris, was to love her. She was full of life and lived hers with humility, grace and dignity. I had the great pleasure of sharing a birthday with her and we relished in a so called "twinship" that was not limited to being born on the same day. We had the same love of small thoughtful gestures, surprise snail mail, high tea, live theatre, quality television, fine houseware, seasonal decor, and the list goes on. But I can only hope to have an ounce of her generous spirit, caring heart and loving personality. As I look around my home I see Kris all around filling the space with pretty little things that warm my heart and brighten each day. That's how she will live on ... with lovely memories to fill my soul and forever my "twin".

I was so sad when I heard the news of Kris’s passing. Vik and Victor, We are sending you many hugs. We all have had many memories that we could talk about day after day. Kris was a kind hearted woman who loved every day, but loved the ground her Viktor's walked on. She always put you two first - always gave of herself. Hold onto your memories, talk and share them - this will take time to heal but hold onto each other.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Kris was a dear friend to me for many years. I enjoyed sharing lunches, shopping trips, and stories at the front desk of the Y. Dear Vik and Viktor,
Kris was such a dear friend and we had many shared memories. Our boys swimming together at LHY, the Holiday Classic and Y Nats.
Our lunches at the Alexis diner where we talk and laugh so much our jaws would ache. The Christmas lunches that she loved to host was one of my favorites. I will always think of Kris as one of the most kind and generous people I've ever known and will deeply miss her.

I had the pleasure of working for Dr. Joganow for 16 years at PVRHS and often he would tell me about their courtship starting in elementary school. Kris was very talented at decorating their home and planning dinner parties. When she spoke about their son, Viktor, her face would light up. She truly adored her two Viktors. I always enjoyed speaking with her. She was always upbeat and so happy. She was truly an angel. I’m sure she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
