Obituary of Joseph Marino

Joseph Marino, 84, of Woodland Park, previously of Barnegat and Clifton, passed away on November 30, 2013. Joseph was born in Paterson on January 21, 1929 to the late Giuseppe Marino and Rose Viglione. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy from 1946 to 1948. He later worked as an avionics technician for Midway Aircraft in Moonachie, NJ. Joseph was the beloved husband of Sadie (nee Misito) for 62 years. He was the loving father of Dennis Marino and his wife Sue, Robert Marino, and Lisa Peterson and her husband John and the cherished grandfather of Joseph, Jennifer and Erica Marino and Allison Peterson. Joseph was the dear brother of Ann McKee and the late Mary Marino, Lucy Szewczyk, Helen Migliara and Jimmy Marino and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 &7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 797 Valley Rd., Clifton. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
