Obituary of Elizabeth Johnson
ELIZABETH (nee Lozirk) ANN JOHNSON ,66, of LITTLE FALLS passed away Saturday. Liz, as she was known, resided in Little Falls, N.J. her whole life and graduated from Passaic Valley High School in 1972. She is predeceased by her father, Charles, mother Francis (nee Sweeney) and a brother Samuel. She leaves behind her loving husband Bruce, a sister Eleanor of N.C., sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews and lifelong neighbors and friends.
Lizzy shared her passion of boating, her garden with Koi fish and Tiki Bar and the thrill of riding roller coasters with her husband Bruce during their nineteen years of marriage. In 2005, they travelled to Sandusky, Ohio and rode 17 roller coasters in one day including the world’s fastest roller coaster at the time. Lizzy loved Motown and often karaoked to the Supremes while their turntable played her favorite song. Liz was a beloved employee of The Little Sisters of the Poor in Totowa for the last eight years and will be remembered by many as a kind and compassionate woman.
A funeral Mass and celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
