Obituary of Therese M. Buchanan

Therese M. "Terry" Buchanan (nee Bedotto), a life long resident of West Paterson, passed away on January 10, 2021. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kathleen Angsten of Woodland Park and her brother James Bedotto of North Carolina and by sisters and brothers-in law, many cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong neighbors and friends. Terry was predeceased by her father Peter and mother MaryEllen (nee O'Rourke) Bedotto. She was also predeceased by her husbands Peter Angsten and William Buchanan.

Therese enjoyed traveling the world and spending winters in Naples, Florida with her husband Bill and daughter, Kathleen, along with many close friends.  She was also a member of the Red Hatters Club in Naples Florida and was a life long parishioner of St. Bonaventure's Church where she attended grade and high school. Before retiring, Therese worked for Costco in Wayne, NJ. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 9:15-10:15am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will immediately follow at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
