Obituary of Marilyn A. Holster
Marilyn A. Holster, 82, a resident of Woodland Park, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness. Marilyn was born on November 25, 1938 in Paterson, New Jersey where she was raised and where she later attended Central High School. She worked for the Telephone Co. in Paterson, Klein Ribbon in Paterson, The Economics Press in Fairfield, IQPC in Little Falls and Capezio’s in Totowa. She also owned and operated a 7-Eleven in Nutley for many years. She was a parishioner at Holy Angels Church in Little Falls for several years.
She was the dear wife of Dave Holster of Woodland Park for 48 years. She was the beloved mother of Donna Randazzo of Hopatcong, Lori Randazzo of Woodland Park, and Tony Randazzo of Long Island. She was the treasured grandmother of Alicia Plinio and her husband Sean Schuchman of Rockaway, Matthew Plinio of Hopatcong, Samantha and Josh Randazzo of Florida and the great grandmother of Samuel Schuchman. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents Bill and Lena (Delia) DeGroot and by her brother Bill DeGroot, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2:00-6:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
