Obituary of Emil Pershing Biggio, Jr.

Emil Pershing Biggio, Jr., 76, of Woodland Park, passed away in Wayne on February 19, 2021. Emil was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 18, 1945 to the late Emil Pershing Biggio, Sr. and Jadwiga (Jaworska) Biggio. Emil moved to Woodland Park as a child and continued to live there for the rest of his life. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1971. He later owned and operated Emil's Body Shop in Little Falls, NJ for many years before his retirement.

He is survived by his daughter Sandra Dillard (Tim), granddaughter Dana, sister Helena Storman, niece Regina Treglia (Anthony), great-nephews Joseph and Anthony, many loving cousins and god-children.  Emil also leaves behind many devoted friends.  Emil enjoyed hunting, fishing and rooting for the New York Mets.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 10:00-11:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A military graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:00pm at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Military Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
