Dear Scott, I was so sad to hear of your passing! What a tremendous loss for your family, my heart breaks for them. When I was growing up, you were like an Uncle to me. Being my dad’s best friend for so many years you became part of our family! When I was maybe 5 or 6 years old my family visited you at your lake cabin in succasunna. I was terrified of boating and fishing because I thought fish had teeth and would bite me. To put me at ease with the outdoors you took me out on the lake in a canoe with my mom. Once we got out there you stuck your hand in the water and grabbed a small fish, with your bare hand! I was shocked! I never saw anyone do that (still to this day!) And then you stuck the fish face first in your mouth! It’s tale was flapping and I was freaking out but you and my mom were hysterical laughing. It’s a memory I will never forget! But you did prove that fish don’t bite with teeth! Lol. You also used to tell me my dad cut your finger off because he was so big and tough, I believed that for many years, lol. You had a wonderful sense of humor that will be missed by everyone who knew you. You were such a kind and sweet man with a huge heart for those you loved. I hope you and my dad were reunited in heaven and are looking down watching over all of us. My sincere condolences to Mary, Keith & Glen and your whole family. May the memories you had with Scott bring you comfort during this difficult time. I know he will be greatly missed by all, including me.
