Obituary of Sadie Vaccarello

Sadie Vaccarello (nee Ciurciu), 89, of Paterson, passed away on December 19, 2013. Sadie was born on March 22, 1924 in Santa Croce Camerina, Sicily, Italy to the late Ignazio and Giuseppina Ciurciu. Sadie worked for many years as a seamstress and was also a member of the Santa Croce Camerina Society in Hawthorne. Sadie was the beloved wife of Domenick Vaccarello. She was the cherished mother of Dominic Vaccarello and his wife Mary and Joseph Vaccarello and his wife Zoe and the adored grandmother of Andrew, Lauren and David Vaccarello. Sadie was the dear sister of Maria Falcone and Giovanni Ciurciu and aunt to Stella Paniscotti, her husband Mimmo and many others. She was predeceased by one sister and one brother. Visitation will held on Sunday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
