Obituary of George E. Moomjian

George E. Moomjian, 86, of Prospect Park, passed away on April 2, 2021. George was born in Paterson on January 24, 1935 to the late George and Lucy (Norian) Moomjian. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War from 1952-1956. He later owned and operated Prestige Inudstries, a marketing company in Cedar Grove. He was a former parishioner of Unity Christian Reform Church in Prospect Park and also served as a leader of the Cadillac Club, a bowling league at Fair Lawn Lanes and a dedicated alumni of Fairleigh Dickinson University. 

George was predeceased by his parents and by his sisters Rachel Amedeo, Betty Pohlod and Lillian Moomjian and is survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends. 

Visitation will be Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. Guests may arrive at Santangelo Funeral Home on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 10:30am for an 11:30am chapel service at the funeral home with entombment at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa to follow.
