Obituary of Ronald J. Listwan

Ronald J. Listwan, 72, of Woodland Park, passed away on April 19, 2021. Ronald was born in Jersey City on March 20, 1949 to the late Benjamin and Jean (Kurtiak) Listwan. Before retiring, Ronald worked as a systems project manager for IBM in Newark, NJ. In his spare time Ronald enjoyed golfing and bowling, he was a member and player of the Preakness Valley Golf Course of Passaic County, he also belonged to the Knights of Columbus Chapter of St. Philips Church in Clifton and enjoyed volunteering as Santa for the Magic Years pre-school in Woodland Park.

Ronald was the beloved husband of Virginia (Beckett) Listwan; the adored father of Tracy Sweezy and her husband Thomas and Tina Gonzalez and her husband Miguel and the treasured grandfather of Olivia and Cassandra Sweezy and Jessica and Alanna Gonzalez. Ronald is also survived by his brother Bernard Listwan (wife Elizabeth), his nephew Justin Listwan (wife Tracy), his sisters in law Wendy Beckett and Patricia Mackowiak and their families, his uncle Edward Kurtiak (wife Roseanne), cousins and other extended family members. 

Visitation will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 2:00-6:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. Cremation will be private.
