Obituary of Vittorio Giordano

Vittorio Giordano, 84, of Paterson, passed away on April 20, 2021. He was born in Avellino, Italy on February 12, 1937 to the late Gerardo and Stella (Di Fabrizio) Giordano. Before retiring, Vittorio worked for 17 years as a barber at Louie Palazzo's Shop in Clifton and then worked as a maintenance man for Clarkwood Industries in Totowa. He loved gardening, cooking and spending time at the beach as well as his time surrounded by family. 

Vittorio was the beloved husband of Carmela (Ciarla) Giordano; the treasured father of Gerardo Giordano, Stella Giordano and Vittorio Giordano, Jr. and his wife Annamaria; and the cherished grandfather of Cinzia Michaels, Vanessa Giordano, Manuel Joseph Jiminez, Julian Vittorio Giordano and Vianna Maria Giordano and the great grandfather of Dominic Michaels. He was predeceased by his siblings Feliciano, Roberto, and Antonio Giordano and Maria Di Pietro and is survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Monday, April 26, 2021 from 5:00-9:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Pompei Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:00am. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
