Obituary of Josephine Bushey

Josephine Bushey (nee Nativo), 99, of Lincoln Park, passed away on May 13, 2021. Josephine was born in Paterson, NJ on March 7, 1922 to the late Peter and Rosalie (Occhipinti) Nativo. She worked in the cafeteria of Passaic Valley High School in Little Falls for 35 years before retiring. 

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Bushey and by her daughter Carol Lucas. She was the adored mother of Joseph Bushey and his wife Diane and Mark Bushey and his wife Elaine and the treasured grandmother of Nicole and Michael Lucas and Nicholas, Jack, Luke and Sam Bushey. 

Visitation will be Monday, May 17, 2021 from 10:00-11:15am at Santangelo Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow beginning at 11:15am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Meals on Wheels location of your choice.
