Obituary of Peter Paul Heese

Peter Paul Heese, 83, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2021. Peter was born and raised in Paterson, moved to West Paterson and currently resided in Columbia, NJ. He was born on March 14, 1938 to the late Geroge P. and Bridget Della (Heaney) Heese. Peter worked for many years as a shift supervisor at Bee Chemical. Prior to retiring, he was a machine builder at Independent Machine in Fairfield, NJ. in his spare time, Peter was an avid football fan of the NY Giants and the Oakland Raiders. 

Peter is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Irene (Kowalchuk) Heese. He was the devoted father of Barbara DeJesus (husband Juan), Peter F. Heese (wife Diane), Patrick Heese (wife Gina) and Paul Heese (wife Margarita). He was the beloved grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Peter was predeceased by his parents, his brother George and John Heese,  and his sister Elizabeth Dean Haskoor.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 3:00-7:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Mary's Church, Union Ave., Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
