Obituary of Neil Foglia

Neil Foglia, Jr., 77, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, formerly of Paterson, passed away on December 29, 2013. He was born on September 2, 1936 in Paterson to the late Natale and Louise Foglia. He worked as a weaver for many years before retiring. He was the cherished husband first to Florence Elaine Foglia and later to Carol Napodano. He was the treasured father of MaryAnn Redmon and her husband Thomas, Neil Foglia, III, Louise Zawilski and her late husband Lou, Joann McAvoy, and florence Thomas and her husband Leonard. He was the dear step-father of Dorothy Sladicka and her husband John and Brenda Semanko and her husband Christopher. He is the adored grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren who all love him dearly. He is also survived by his brother Larry Foglia and his wife Helen, many nieces and nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Michael, Robert and Joseph Foglia and his sister Rachael DeMarco. In addition to spending time with his beloved families, Neil enjoyed fishing and hunting . Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A wake service will be offered during visitation at Santangelo Funeral Home. Cremation will be private by the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Neil's family would be appreciated.
