Obituary of Thomas Edward Hardy

Thomas Edward Hardy, 73, of Woodland Park, passed away on October 12, 2021. He was born in Paterson on December 16, 1947 to the late Thomas Allen and Claire (Lincoln) Hardy. Before retiring, Thomas worked as a warehouse manager at Scales Air Compressor Corp. in Woodland Park. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He stood as a member of the Passaic Valley Elks #2111 and American Legion #227 in Totowa and of the VFW in Clifton, NJ. Thomas was a talented drummer who played with the Drum Corps of Our Lady of Lourdes in Paterson, Muchachos of Paterson, Caballeros and the Caballeros Alumni of Hawthorne. 
 
Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Gloria (MacLean) Hardy; his daughter Traci Unger and her husband Mark, his son John Tobin and his wife Kerry and his daughter Victoria Tobin and her partner Augie Aversa. He was the loving grandfather of Blake, Travis, Patrick, Noah, Ozzie, Sebastian, Abigal and Violet. Thomas is also survived by many cousins and close friends which he made through his many memberships. 
 
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 4:00-8:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home. A service will be held during the visitation. Cremation will be private.
